Digital Health Expert / Senior Health Informatics Specialist
The Code Fusion team seeks a highly experienced and motivated Digital Health Expert to join our team as an individual consultant. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in digital health and health management information systems (HMIS) specifically within the context of Nepal.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for digital health initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on integrating digital health solutions into existing health systems.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of HMIS projects.
- Oversee the execution of digital health projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and development partners.
- Design and implement robust and scalable health management information systems.
- Ensure systems are compliant with national and international health data standards.
- Conduct regular system evaluations and optimizations.
- Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks for digital health projects.
- Analyze project outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in digital health technologies.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and propose new digital health solutions.
- Conduct research and contribute to knowledge sharing within the field.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in digital health and health management information systems.
- Proven experience working on HMIS projects in Nepal.

- Proficient in health information standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
